To my patients,
After 38 years in the practice of podiatry in Park Slope, I have made the difficult decision to retire. It has been a great pleasure to serve our community and I hope the feeling is mutual. I appreciate the trust you have had in me all of these years and I value the confidence you have placed in me. The good news is that my associate of three years, Dr. Michael Nagelberg, will be assuming my podiatry practice on a full-time basis. I have the utmost confidence in his ability, his medical judgment and his capacity to take care of my patients and to treat them with respect. I know that he will treat you properly. He is a former chief podiatry resident at New York Methodist Hospital and is extremely well trained in all aspects of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery. I will also be available to Dr. Nagelberg for advice and consultation over the next few months. In closing, I wish everyone well and again thank you for allowing me to be your podiatrist.
Sincerely yours,
Herbert C Schmirer, DPM
